Welcome Chautauqua-Lake Erie Art Trail and Walking Garden Earth visitors.
Over the past five years, I have been completing a series of Plein Air paintings that celebrate the beauty and history of local agricultural communities. Through these works I have sought to capture the unique geography, weather patterns, and natural resources of Western New York. Increasingly conservation and sustainability issues have become central to my work.
This Summer we went on a five week Plein Air Painting Expedition out west. I completed 19 paintings (including 2 big commissioned works) on location in the National Parks and beyond, locations include: South Dakota Badlands, Devils Tower, Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Garden of the Gods, South Park CO, New Mexico, and The Great Sand Dunes. Selected works will be displayed at upcoming shows, to view the entire show contact me for a studio visit.

8 artists and crafters will be displaying works at Downtown Fredonia businesses for this special one day holiday shopping event. Jamie Hoggard and Rebecca Tkaezyk will be displaying at the Winter Farmers Market at the Masonic Lodge Fredonia. I will be featuring my new limited edition print "Canadaway Waterfalls", as well as smaller reasonably priced works (Garden and Vegetable paintings) and limited edition prints. I will also be conducting a painting demonstration at the farmers Market. 10-2pm.
